Whoopsi-daisy, missed a week in there!

This was my weekend project. It is a chalkboard that is on the outside of our pantry door. The plan is that when someone uses the last of something, they write it on the chalkboard (yeah right!) and then when I am heading to the store I can just take a photo of it with my phone. We'll see if it lives up to its potential. The top cornice piece is made from something that I found in the woods more than 5 years ago. I was hanging onto it for something special. Well, this is special! Thanks to my baby brother "Kane" for helping me with some of the cutting.

Week Five and Counting....

This week I have worked on the prototype for my upcoming leather wrap bracelet that will be offered through Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College on Wednesday, April 4th. I needed to make it up in a few different bead combinations. So, here is the first attempt. I used opal jade rondelles and brown leather. The button is a vintage one from my Mother's button collection. I also played with my new camera tripod and a few new settings. Very happy with the results of these photos!
